13 things I would tell my 20-year-old self! 馃悾

In a week, it's my birthday, and in honour of entering my thirties era , I want to share with you what I would say to the 20-year-old girl who, without many expectations, has made it this far and can say she feels better than ever.

13 things I would tell my 20-year-old self! 馃悾
  1. If you ever thought you're invincible to heartbreaks: how amusing you are!... Your heart will be broken, not because karma caught up with you (or did it?) but because you were meant to be first and it will be worth it because you'll learn that a wounded person shouldn't hurt but heal, love gently, and love more!

  2. There's not just one love of your life, but a life with many loves.

  3. Feeling deeply and following your intuition are your superpowers. Just remember, no emotion lasts as long as you think, so you don't have to stop and refrain from exploring.

  4. You've never cared what people think of you, keep it that way, keep smiling at others' opinions.

  5. You'll study many different things, not because you're indecisive, but because you know exactly that you came to this world to set your own rules.

  6. Try EVERYTHING you have in mind, some of those ideas will turn into wonderful things and the ones that don't, will become incredible anecdotes.

  7. Keep questioning everything, but don't stray from your light, your spirituality, and your gifts.

  8. You are loved, thought of, and remembered so much because you radiate light wherever you go.

  9. You can be smart, coquette, introverted, sexy, a mother and successful, all at the same time! And you don't have to stop being any of those things to be taken seriously.

  10. Keep being disciplined with sports and living fit, just don't miss out on plans and spending time with your family and friends in the process.

  11. You don't have to wait to know everything before diving into pursuing a dream.

  12. You don't have to wait for a miracle to feel grateful, you'll know that every day God is always working in your favor.

  13. What if instead of thinking that the people who are here today will last a lifetime, we acknowledge that we're together TODAY?

I hope these words help you as much as they've helped me over the years.
